I always love beauty samples! So here is a look at what was inside of Target’s March beauty box. Yeah, yeah, it’s April….but ya know…whatevs. And again, you have to act fast on these! They normally sell out within hours!
Caress body wash – Adore Forever – This is a fragrance filled body wash that guarantees to have a long-lasting scent. It’s sort of a sweet and exotic scent which is quite pleasant – it was reminiscent of being on a tropical island. However, the scent really does last a loooong time and almost become overwhelming. It was just a bit too strong for me. I really wanted the honeymoon to be over.
Hair Food moisture shampoo and conditioner – This also had a sweet exotic scent to it, but not nearly as overwhelming. It is silicone free, paraben free and mineral oil free. I really did feel that my hair was softer after using these products so it is something I would consider purchasing in the future.
Laneige water sleeping mask – This was a bit slimy for me and you are supposed to rub it on your face, go to sleep, and then wash it off in the morning. I’m not really a fan of sleeping with something on my face – I don’t know why – but it just really bothers me…so probably not something I would use regularly.
Nugg anti-aging face mask – I really liked the texture and delicate scent of this mask. I also like that they come in little pods and you only have to leave it on for a few minutes at a time. I will probably use this sometime in the future.
Sinful Colors nail polish in Poisonberry – The color was a bit too dark for me, but my 3 year old loved it for her toes and it did last almost a week. This is a pretty inexpensive brand (about $2 a bottle), so I would try this item again but in a lighter color.
Banana Boat sunscreen in SPF 30 – I used this while running and felt that it did its job. No sunburn and the scent was pretty subtle. I try to stick with natural or organic sunscreens, so I most likely would not use this product again.
Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray – I really wanted to love this, but it didn’t do a whole lot for my hair. Probably because I already have wavy – curlyish hair. But it did smell beachy and island-y which I liked. It’s also retails at Target at less than $5 a bottle (8 oz) so it’s definitely a good deal if it works for your hair type.
You are Amazing juicy grapefruit lotion – I really enjoyed this lotion. It wasn’t too heavy, has a great scent and is paraben-free. It also retails at Target for about $4 a bottle (8oz) which pretty much rocks, so I can see this lotion in my future!
The beauty box also includes a coupon for $3 off of a $15 beauty purchase which is super awesome because I never turn down a good coupon!
Overall, I really liked all of the samples and can’t wait to see what will be in next month’s box! Hopefully you were able to snag one, too!
