E-Cloth = A-mazing!

My latest review is for a product called E-cloth!  E-cloth is a microfiber cloth that is designed to clean surfaces with water alone.  Their slogan is “Chemical Free Cleaning” and they claim that these cloths will kill 99% of bacteria by “collecting bacteria rather than “killing bacteria”.  They offer different cloths for each part of the house and I chose the one that cleans the kitchen!

I was a little skeptical about this product at first just because I didn’t believe that a cloth could clean and kill bacteria without the use of some type of cleaner.  So I avoided cleaning some areas in my kitchen for a couple of days so I could really see this thing in action.  I started with the stovetop…

And after about 45 seconds of scrubbing…Voila!

I was really surprised at how well it cleaned the stove with no assistance from any other cleaners in less than a minute.  I did have to use a little spray to get the rest of the spots, but that’s always a really difficult area to clean.

Next, I cleaned out a cup…

I also found this task pretty simple with using the e-cloth rather than using a scrub brush.  I was pretty much able to clean out each cup with just one swipe!

Then, I tried out the e-cloth on the sink!  Here is the before…

Like I said, I didn’t clean it for a few days….And here is the after!

Bam! Look at that.  Like a brand new sink!  Beautiful!  And all done in less than a minute with just the e-cloth and water!

Then, I popped it in the washer!

And there you go…refreshed and ready to get back to work!

I really wasn’t expecting much from this product, but was surprised to see how well it did around the kitchen.  I also like using chemical free products around the house since the kids touch everything.  I don’t know if it’s a mental thing, but for certain spills and areas I feel like I would still use some type of cleaner to help with the germs.  But overall, I really liked this product and I am excited to try out the other cloths for other parts of the house!

If you are interested in trying out E-cloth for yourself (free shipping in the U.S. except for AK and HI), there are a few ways to connect!

5 Tips for Hosting a Healthy Baby Home Party

One of the perks of being in the  Generation Good community through Seventh Generation is the opportunity to host a Healthy Baby Home Party!  This is your chance to share the benefits of utilizing Seventh Generation home and baby products!  If you are selected to host a party, you will receive a free kit with everything you need for your gathering.

The kit contains lots of goodies from Healthy Child Healthy World, Bobble, Annie’s, Stonyfield, and of course  Seventh Generation.  So here are a few tips to get you started with your party!

  • Go to your Generation Good dashboard and look over everything that will be expected of you throughout the campaign.  This includes emailing out invitations, taking pictures, and posting on social media.

  • Decide on a location and time…then get your invitation list started.  It’s up to you if you would like kids to be present or not.  Some hosts will hold their parties at home, restaurants, community centers, etc.  I did mine at a park during the day so that kids could come, too.

  •  Open your kit and sort out the materials.  You will have enough samples, coupons and handouts for up to 12 people.  There will also be an agenda and a link to a video for your attendees to watch.  You will also be provided with a bingo game and some products to give out as prizes for the winners.
  • Assemble your bags and decide which prize you would like to keep for yourself.  I decided to keep the dish detergent! Also look over the materials and watch the video in case anyone has any questions.

  • Share info and play bingo! My kit came with a box of crackers to give as a prize, but instead I brought cupcake liners and shared them with the whole group.  You could also use them as bingo markers!

But most importantly…have fun!  It’s an exciting way for you and your attendees to learn healthier ways to incorporate cleaner products into your home!  I enjoyed learning about the healthy home facts through the bingo game and I really loved passing out all of the SWAG! 😉

What do you think?  Would you host a Healthy Baby Home Party?!

***Note: I was provided a Healthy Baby Home Party kit for free in exchange for honest reviews and social media posts.  All opinions are my own and no other compensation was granted.
